Wednesday, March 24, 2010 Dear Bloggie, I know its been a week since I updated my blog. Well. A rather eventful week I should say. Just within two weeks I went for 2 wakes. Yea, my grandma passed away last week. It was a fine Wednesday. I went to meet mum at Paya Lebar after work. In the midst of our activity, my uncle called my mum and said that something's wrong with grandma. Then dad called awhile later and said that grandma lost her last breath. Well, I can't say that I'm not upset. But somehow, to me, perhaps the impact wasn't that big because I have never interacted with her. From birth till now, I don't remember speaking to her at all. After suffering a stroke and being bed-ridden for 10 over years, leaving at the age of 81, having so many offspring, perhaps its a blessing in disguise? I mean, she finally relieved of all the sufferings here. She left rather peacefully on the bed. She had somehow chosen the perfect timing to leave. Firstly, it was school holidays. Secondly, it was nearing weekends, which means her funeral would be held on a weekend. Thirdly, it was a time whereby office hours are over and people had knocked off from work. Fourthly, after CNY whereby she got to see all of us gathering happily together as a family for the last time. She's got 8 children - 5 sons and 3 daughters. And a total of 16 grandchildren. Yea, a rather big family. Anyway, yea, the wake started on Thursday morning. I went to work and then to the wake in the evening. For the few days of the wake I slept rather late. Ok, maybe for the past few weeks. I have been sleeping at like 2-3am. But well. On Saturday, all of us cousins decided to stay over at the wake. We had Roti Prata party. Yea, we all had Roti Prata for supper. Ee Ling jie and Sharon jie went Simpang Bedok to get them. Quite nice. (: I slept at 4.30am on Sunday and woke up at 5.30am. Then went back to shower. Was super tired though. And people said I look like a zombie on Saturday morning when I went for GB. Or maybe not zombie. They just say I looked pale. Haha. Oh well. Hmm... Anyway, my grandma's funeral was last Sunday. Now that grandma's gone, its gonna be so different.. Hui En's xi, nu. ai, le :D Sheng An in his own world. :D Roti Prata! Love, PAMELA :D blogged @ 1:03 AM Sunday, March 14, 2010 Dear Bloggie, Ok, I'm back. Don't say I didn't update ok! Hah. Anyway, its Sunday again. Yea, went for service in the morning. Had bible study after lunch at LJS. Today's BS was about Sexuality. Why do we need to set boundaries in relationships; in terms of physically, emotionally and financially? Hmm.. By the way, a short update for the past few days. Went to work as usual on Thursday and Friday. I was down for work on Friday 'cos I wanted to make up for my half day of work on Wednesday. Haha. So I can earn a little more. =x There was no GB yesterday. Went to Bedok with mum then to Paya Lebar. After that, went home to take a nap. That nap caused me to be rather awake at night. =x Anyway, met Jin Hui at night to help him abit with Math. OH! Thank God I still remember some. xD I slept at almost 3. 'Cos I only bathed at like 1.40am. My hair was wet then. Then I woke up at 8 this morning for service. (: Hmm... Oh yes, so many people though I'm in love just because of the things I posted on Facebook these few days. The answer is no, Pam is not in love. Those were just random thoughts at those moments. (: People seem to be more kan chiong than me uh? Or maybe they are afraid that I may get cheated. Haha. Oh well... (: I'm going to be emo for awhile. Hmm. I was just saying that the Earth will not stop revolving for anyone's gone, but for the people who are gone, their loved ones' worlds seemed to have stopped for that moment. Its hard to accept the death of someone really close to you. Better cherish and treasure those you have loved and who have loved you. Let your sorrow be a bridge not a barrier to the people who love and adore you. We are here for you and will be over every day until you tell us to go away. We love you and are sorry for your loss. Letting the light into life at a time like this almost seems impossible. But if you would allow me to be your own personal jester, I would be honored. I just want to see you smile again. Love, PAMELA :D blogged @ 6:09 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Dear Bloggie, It's once again Wednesday. I went to work in the morning for a while. Wanted to help out with the typing of letters. I'm so proud of myself. I typed quite many today. Heh. Non-stop. :p Ok, anyway, I left office at around 1130am and went to the bank. :D Met Hui Yi, after that went to eat some food at the hawker. :D Then went to meet mum at Eunos and went Outram for Appointment. Woohooo~ Last ever appointment after like 10-11 years. OMG. Yes, I have been overweight for the past 10 years. =x Not a something I should be proud of though. xD Okay, the reason why I'm discharged from IOH is because I'm entering Poly not because I'm of acceptable weight. =x If I enter JC, ITE or maybe MI, tehy will still follow up with my weight. And I have to visit them every 4-6 months. I have heard the same thing over and over again. I can practically memorise them. Haha. Well well. Hah. :D I'm soooo irritated by someone. So fast. Oh well. Hmm. My week was rather fine. Went to work as usual on Wednesday and Thursday. Worked half-day on Friday. Then went for GB yesterday and church today. :D You know I kept laughing at the retarded photos Hui Yi and I took on her webcam. I was laughing like crazy. Omg. So, last Friday went Ice Skating with buddies. (: Had lotsa fun though I literally gave up half way. I seriously cannot skate. Can't overcome my own barrier uh. Anyway, so I stopped after about an hour? Maybe lesser than that. Haha. But Hui Yi and Xin Hui did it. :D Eh. But i was there taking photos and stuff uh. :p After that, I went to stone at Hui Yi's place. We were playing with her webcam. So fun!! The pictures are with her. I tried to put it in my SD card but I can't see it here. =/ So yeah, I will post them next time. (: We were laughing like crazy. Hah. Super happy. :D Jin Hui then called me to accompany him to deposit his money. He was afraid that people will rob him so he wanted to go at night when actually not many people will be on around the bank already? Oh well, anyway, shared supper with Hui Yi at the coffeeshop and then went to the bank. Hah. After that Hui Yi was trying to imitate JW. OMG. Nightmare. xD Ok, I slept rather late 3 plus? =x I woke up early on Saturday morning to go to school for GB. Then I realised they were going for CIP until 1030? Wow. Alright. So I decided to stay in school 'cos I was lazy to go with them. I had a short nap outside GB room. Haha. Yahyah. On the tables. Bleah. The weather then was not bad. Quite cooling. :D Waited for them to come back, then had drills. Hmm.. No comments about it. ARGH. After GB, had lunch with Jing Han, Veron and Miao Jun at Tech View. The funny thing was, 4 of us occupied the 8 pax table. And about 5-6 BB boys had to occupy a smaller round table. After Veron and Miao Jun finished their food, we shifted to the 4 pax round table. 'Cos we felt kinda bad so we let the BB have the big table. Haha. Went home to rest. And met Yan Yi in the evening to get food for steamboat later on at Fanny's. We thought we wouldn't have enough food. But it turned out that we have bought too many. Haha. Oh well. =x Oh yes, that steamboat has a name - Hello Kitty Steamboat. It is because everything was Hello Kitty. From cutlery, to trays, to utensils, to table cloth, to water container, to poker cards, to red packets. Hahaha. Hello Kitty madness. We stayed and chat until about 11.30pm before leaving Fanny's place. Had a great time. :D And again, I slept at 3 plus. =x I woke up early for church. Then after service, went for lunch with M'am Lisha and M'am Pei Jun. But I didn't eat. I went to my uncle's place to eat after that. My cousin thought he ws funny. I think I repeated the story alot of times already. What happen was, he offered to send me home though my house is a 5-min walk from my uncle's place. =x He drove out of the carparka dn realised he could't go straight 'cos its One-way only. Then I had alight from his car and walk home. So in the end I still walked home. Hahah. So embarrassing. The driver behind was like looking at me. Omg.
